‘FENCE’ @ New Orleans Film Festival

We are very excited to reveal that ‘FENCE‘ by Lendita Zeqiraj has been selected to be part of the 29th annual, Oscar-qualifying New Orleans Film Festival (#NOFF2018), which will take place from October 17th through October 25th, part of the most diverse line-up in the festival’s history.

After receiving a record number of  6000  submissions for the 2018 festival—an increase of over 25% from 2017—the festival’s team of programmers carefully curated a slate of 220 visionary, thought-provoking films that represent a wealth of perspectives. Entries came from 120 different countries. Overall, the directors of selected films represent 42 different nationalities.

Born in a city known for its eclectic and artistic vibrancy, the New Orleans Film Festival (NOFF) has sought out bold and passionate storytellers since 1989. It is the longest-running festival of its kind in the state of Louisiana and one of the largest film festivals in the South.

New Orleans Film Festival, has grown into an internationally respected annual event that attracts 20-25k people, 400+ filmmakers, and 240 films. It is one of the few film festivals that is Oscar-qualifying in all three Academy-accredited categories: Narrative Short, Documentary Short, and Animated Short—and it’s been recognized by MovieMaker Magazine as one of the “Top 50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee” every year since 2012 (one of only two festivals to receive that recognition for six straight years).
